Items That Make Life Easier

Majority of us have been using the traditional equipment that has been around for years. Whatever the reason may be, we still use certain things which are very basic and have been for years. I am not trying to say that things that we have been using traditionally are of no use. There is evolution happening in every sphere to which nothing is an exception.

With the advent of time, there has been a massive improvement in everything, from technology to house furniture. And, it has only made our lives easier.

As a student, I have tried and tested quite a few every day needs and have finally settled for certain products or equipment that I feel is better and gives me much appropriate result than I would have achieved by using the traditional ones.

So, without any more delay, let's go through the 5 things that have made my life nothing but better.

1. GARMENT STEAMER

Ironing clothes have never been my first choice. I had seen garment steamer but only in clothing stores. But once I got my hands on the portable garment steamer, I've never let it go. Ironing clothes meant a lot of work, which is less than half of what I have to do when I steam my clothes, and it does not even take more than 3 minutes for me to get off all the crease and wrinkles from the clothes. For me, this little equipment has saved a lot of time and is my personal favorite.

2. LIQUID DETERGENT

Most of us still use powder detergent. I love my clothes, even if it is simple loungewear and once I realized how harsh detergent powder is for them, I switched to detergent liquid. It is delicate on the clothes and gives the same result as a powder detergent. Switching to liquid detergent meant a longer life of the clothes which each one of us wants.

3. FABRIC CONDITIONER

As much as liquid detergent is suitable for clothes, conditioning them is of the same, if not of more importance. It is the same with clothes as it is with our hair, we shampoo and condition. Same way, we wash and condition. This keeps the fabric soft and increases the life of clothes. And once you use it, there is no going back. For me, these two things are my Holy Grail.

4. ELECTRIC KETTLE

I am someone who needs hot water to drink first thing in the morning. Also, lately I've developed the habit of drinking black coffee. There are times when I don’t have the time to wait while the water boils on the stove and this is where the electric kettle comes into the picture. All I have to do I pour water in it and switch it on, once its done, it automatically gets switched off. No more keeping an eye on the boiling water.

5. SHOE CLEANING LIQUID

As much as I love my shoes, I want to keep them clean as much as I can. Especially white sneakers and shoes with a white sole. I have tried all the hacks that one can possibly use to keep them as white as snow but that doesn’t always work. Recently, I've started using shoe cleaning liquid and my shoes have never looked better. It is as good as new, nobody can say that they have ever been used, that is the kind of result it gives. And once you see it by yourself, there is absolutely no going back.

I am not trying to promote these brands, these are the items that I use. You don’t necessarily have to use any of these items or specifically any of the items that I've posted, these are what I use and your choices may differ from mine which is completely fine.
